Teak is inspired by New York Times bestselling author Kelly Corrigan

We met Kelly Corrigan 11 years ago almost to the day of this writing. Corrigan and Co. approached Teak about a concept they had to raise money for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland.

She was herself touched and inspired by the tireless work UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital had been doing for not only her children, but for children around the globe.

We quickly fell under her spell and signed up. In the time we have known Kelly she has written and published 4 best selling books, kicked cancer in the ass, raised millions for the Oakland Children Hospital, created and hosted Foreword, a series where top notch thinkers take on big time ideas.

Kelly is often featured in the New York times, you should read one of her most recent opinion articles here.

And the list goes on. Needless to say, Kelly is a massive inspiration to us all.

We are inspired to tell her story.
