CAPTURING THE ESSENCE OF AN ECLECTIC BRAND
Lagunitas’ genius and character is reflected in their brand. They are counter-counter-counter culture. They sometimes get in trouble with the fuzz. They truly, seriously, and to-the-bones love music. And you can feel it in their eclectic design aesthetic and irreverent brand voice.
Since their founding in 1993, the man Tony Magee himself has designed almost all of the labels and written most of their advertising copy. Our challenge was to ground that diverse and eclectic aesthetic in consistent brand principles. Principles that would capture the true essence of Lagunitas. Through what we term a “brand expression” process, we developed the tools and guidelines needed to create an authentic Lagunitas website experience.
CRAFTING MORE THAN BEER
We partnered with Lagunitas to redesign their brand’s website, revamp the user experience, develop photography and produce video content for the site. We continue to partner with Lagunitas to develop new website experiences and video content, including social media content. They push the boundaries, and we share in their joy in doing so.
