At first glance, these innovative drums bear the classic aesthetic of DW’s acoustic sets. The challenge was not only to highlight the drumset’s electronic features visually but also to communicate the immense benefits these features offer to drummers in terms of creative expression.
This led to the adoption of a distinctive visual cue- lighting the drums with blue light when showcasing the electronic configuration and using warm light for the acoustic setup. This visual strategy effectively conveyed the drumset’s versatility, signaling to drummers that they could transition between the authentic acoustic sound they love and the vast expressive potential of electronics.
We developed a campaign and brand style guide to serve as the blueprint for all marketing materials. This was essential for consistency and communicating the essence of “DW. Electrified,” the innovative spirit of Drum Workshop and the transformative potential of the drumset.
